Producer Owned Beef Founders and Consultants are experienced packing industry professionals with over 100 years combined experience. Producers own units in the company’s LLC and become members of the sister company, Producer Owned Beef Cooperative (Co-op). Each Producer executes a long-term supply agreement with the Co-op for a set number of cattle delivered annually to reach 702,000 total annually.

The number of contracted cattle supplied by a Producer is based on the size of their equity investment in the LLC – Producers will be paid for cattle based on quality grade reported in the weekly USDA comprehensive cutout value. Producers will receive plant profit distributions through the LLC equal to unit ownership.
